Nuggets exercise third-year option on Faried, Hamilton

According to the Denver Nuggets have decided to exercise the third-year option on both Kenneth Faried and Jordan Hamilton’s contracts. Each player will make slightly north of $1 million during the 2013-14 season. This move is a no-brainer. Count on the Nuggets doing this same thing sometime next year.

      Yes, over the life of the contract. Then on the fifth year is when the qualifying offer can be extended.
