Nuggets promote D’Alessandro, Bratz

The Denver Nuggets announced Wednesday that both Pete D’Alessandro and Mike Bratz have been promoted. D’Alessandro has now been named the Vice President of Basketball Operations (Ujiri is still the Executive Vice President) and Bratz, Director of Player Personnel. D’Alessandro has been with the Nuggets since 2010 when then-rookie general manager Masai Ujiri hired him as his top advisor. He is seen as one of the brightest “capologists” in the NBA and has often been considered a frontrunner for any and all available general manager positions that have become available in recent months. Bratz has been with the Nuggets since 2009 when he was hired as the team’s scouting director after spending the previous nine years with the Cleveland Cavaliers as Director of Basketball Operations and Player Personnel.

Very Creative Man, But The Celtics May Not Do That, Basically Downgrading Their PG Posistion, But Then Again The Celtics Have Been Trying To Trade Rondo For a While Now it Seems.

Fantastic for us, bad for Boston. We could probably get Jason Smith over here though, which would probably be a good fit.

If Boston keeps this up, they might be willing to overhaul their roster and start over. Come February, they might listen.

I’d take Rondo any day. Would give up Ty, Miller, Gallo, Chandler, Mcgee, Moz…George Karl

I’d even take KG and Pierce (if we could pull it off – Nene’s TE?) and try to go for it all. Heck with it, we may be able to give a last chance at another title – much like the Avalanche did with Ray Bourque and the Bruines.

        Starting five: Rondo-Iguodala-Faried-Pierce-KG
Subs: KK, Jham, Brewer, AR, Fournier, Stone + one PG

This team would have a chance to beat anyone and would be a defensive nightmare for opponents.

In which case, they’d probably go with teams that could get them meaningful draft picks. Altitude alone would kill those senior citizens however.

As the manager of the boston celtics, i cant wait to give up the best PG in the NBA for d-league talent.

Not sure if a major trade is what we need but if we could swing a deal with San Antonio where we get Danny Green for Hamilton or Mozgov and picks I’d be rather chuffed

Although if we somehow got Rondo we could bring the old Thuggets back.

I’m on board for Austin Rivers and Rajon Rondo. Almost a lock to get someone like Doc Rivers to coach us. Unless Doc also wants rid of Rondo, but… I just can’t see that. Rondo is the best pure point guard in the league, both sides of the ball.

how about we fire george karl now….he fucking sucks.
