Fantastic, in-depth article by Zach Harper of CBS. The thing about Brewer is he can score points without demanding the ball or having a play drawn up for him. He scores points simply by using his speed and reading the defense, knowing when to cut back door, running without the ball, getting open in the corner.

He is scoring 11 ppg in around 22 mins, for 3.2 million. I think he would stay in Denver and suitable contract would be 3 years at 12 million. But I also think that Masai may be tempted to trade him whilst his value is high, with the fear that he will get more money in FA anyway, and he wouldn't want to lose him for nothing.

Suitable teams for Brewer would be Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, Golden State - all running teams with cap space next year, and pieces that Denver would want in return.

I really do like Corey and I hope he stays. I don't know if we'll be able to give him the money he deserves but I hope we find a way to make him stay. His energy and attitude is great and infectious.
