Well GK is one of the peeps making huge salaries that decided he was a low minute back up.

I don’t really have a problem with him being a back up, but I do think he should be getting 25-30 minutes a night and so should Kosta.

You are correct, it’s a player option. It’s a tough call though, do you nix the option and go for more overall guaranteed money, but less annual money, or do you roll the dice, take the option, and hope your shooting improves next year? As good as his defense is, he’s looking at a big drop in annual salary with how poor he’s shot the ball this year. For the Nuggets sake, I hope he takes the option, it’s been a pleasure to watch his defense this year…

If only the coach could, somehow, direct practice. Maybe then they could find some method (don’t ask me, I ain’t a basketball genius like HOF coach George Karl) to improve their free throw shooting.

It’s also too bad that the coach can’t set line ups. If he could, then late in games when teams are more prone to foul he could send in bigs that can hit free throws. Well, if we had players like that on the roster. Maybe it’s just a pipe dream, but I hope one day Masai will get us some players like Timofey Mozgov or Anthony Randolph. I’m not sure where those guys are or even if they are still in the NBA, but those guys are are good free throw shooters.

Oh well, like they say “if if’s and but’s were candy and nuts, we’d all have a merry Christmas”.

Good point.

The Bobcats must make more money sucking every year, cuz people making huge salaries are directing they to do just that.

The Hornets must have a grand strategic vision which required getting what looks to be the biggest bust since Adam Morrison with the 10th pick in the draft cuz someone making a huge salary decided to pick Austin Rivers.

2 people making huge salaries in the Nuggets organization have combined to decide that back up centers getting 18 minutes per game are worth $10M.

Chandler and Miller have value, and are valuable for alot of teams in the league lacking depth. There are 3 point shooters to be found, but quite frankly I would rather trade these cats for draft picks. I know that JHAM could develop into a scorer off the bench if he is given playing time. IS HE PERFECT? What young players are? Both you can see his potential.. He has a sweet stroke, and rebounds, as well as blocks shots. Remember he is coming off the bench.. If he makes mistakes on defense I am cool with that, I think the threat of his outside shot would help spacing on the floor with the second unit… Brewer is playing as good as he will ever play… JHAM can drive to the rim, and he HAS UPSIDE!! So let’s review… You lose Chandler and Miller, force KARL’S Hand… JHAM gets minutes, Stone gets minutes, randolph gets some… Karl is forced out of his comfort zone…. Come playoff time JHAM could be a X-factor that we may need in a game.. Also our small ball lineup would look nicer with Stone out there instead of Miller.. Stone can play some defense.. Please review last season’s game against Minnesota where Karl emptied the bench and JHAM, STONE, FARIED, and KK made a game of it.. I will post a link later to the boxscore of that game if I can find it.

Do the Nuggets have a choice? I thought AI9 had a player option for next year at or near max money. Why would he give that up? The smart play for him is to take the money and hope his shot starts falling next year.

Are you kidding with that? The only all-star caliber guy the Celtics have is Rondo and he wasn’t playing. Pierce and Garnett are shells of themselves. At this point PP is barely an above average SF and Garnett isn’t good enough to rate average.

Anyone with eyes to see realises that KG and PP are 100% rep picks and have been for a couple of years.
