Green reaches agreement with Italy’s Siena, according to Yahoo!Sports.com

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo!Sports.com, Nuggets guard Erick Green has reached a one-year contract agreement with Italian team Siena, a “Euroleague power,” as Woj puts it. The article also points out how “Siena has a strong recent history of success with guards” and “has won seven consecutive Italian League championships.” The Nuggets will retain Green’s rights and will likely assess his future role with the team after the upcoming season concludes.

    Nice!

probably good for him since I really dont see the log jam at guard dispersing soon. hope he does well over there

    What a shocker! Just kidding.

shoot. . this even makes it more likely A. Miller is staying. Hey, let’s have a thread about how the guard rotation could potentially shake out, because I for one, . . don’t see it???? When will NRob play? Only when A. Miller is at the point? If Ty and NRob play together who plays defense on bigger guards? Will EF and Foye just be in for spot shooting scenarios, or will AMIller be limited to whatever’s left/injury, etc. . . . . That’s a puzzler. And, since the rook. is gone, that means all 3 PG’s are probably staying. boo.

Puzzler indeed. I think miller should just stay on the bench. He still brings something to the table in pinpoint alley oop passing, post work and actually steals at a respectable rate considering age and lack of athleticism. But for team cohesiveness, pase, and attitude, I don’t think there’s room for miller on this team. Should really try to trade him, because he has some respectable game still, inticing for a win now team shallow in point guard depth. Pacers, Knicks maybe? Thunder perhaps?

Maybe they just want to have someone able to talk to Gallo in Italian.
