According to Chris Dempsy, Nate Robinson had surgery this afternoon to repair a torn ACL, an injury that will keep him out the rest of the season.
#Nuggets G Nate Robinson has had surgery this evening to repair a torn ACL. He’ll be done for the balance of the season.

The injury costs Denver their second best playmaker behind Ty Lawson as Robinson was averaging 10.4 points off the bench while assisting on 21.2 percent of the Nuggets baskets while he was on the floor, by far the second best mark of any Denver rotation player. The onus will probably now fall on Evan Fournier to step up his playmaking (assist percentage of 10.8) as the bench’s leader and also put an Andre Miller trade on the fast track to try and find help, as it is just hard to imagine Miller being brought back after so long away from the team and promptly thrown into the rotation.
